Entity and facility
Request the legal name, facility address and relationship between the contracting supplier and the production or processing site. Check that documents refer to the relevant entity and activity.
A site assessment should address the product form, grade, standard, dimensions and operations required by the purchase. Identify which entity supplies, manufactures, processes or tests the material, and which activities take place at the proposed facility.

List the operations needed for the ordered product. Request the relevant equipment identification, process scope and capacity basis; a general workshop photo does not establish a specific product capability.
Agree tests, sampling, acceptance criteria and any witness points. Specify how heat or batch identification links the material, markings and test documents.
Define packing, protection, bundle or coil identification and shipping marks. Include container or loading checks where they are required by the purchase terms.
Select documents relevant to the order and confirm their issuer, scope and validity. Management-system certification does not replace an order-specific material certificate or an agreed inspection report.
Certificate scope & documentsProvide preferred dates, attendee details, product scope and the checks you want to perform. Agree the site, access permission, safety rules, photography conditions and schedule before booking travel. A request does not confirm access or a visit date.
