Standards and document references

Standards and document references

Select the product standard and edition for the ordered grade. ISO management system certificates and EN 10204 inspection documents serve different purposes; these references do not confirm availability or grade equivalence.

  • ISO 9001
  • ISO 14001
  • ISO 45001
  • ASTM / ASME
  • EN 10204 3.1
  • API 5L

  • Agree witness and hold points, notice periods, responsible parties and report delivery before the relevant work.
  • Specify the EN 10204 document type, issuer and heat or batch references. Confirm availability and additional charges in the quotation and order.

Requesting third-party inspection

SGS Bureau Veritas (BV) TÜV DNV Lloyd’s Register Buyer-nominated inspection organization

If you require SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), TÜV, DNV, Lloyd's Register or another inspector, name it in your inquiry. Confirm acceptance, scope, location, schedule, access and fees for the specific order. Listing a name does not establish an agency relationship or endorsement.

Heat numbers, packing marks and shipment records

Heat numbers, packing marks and shipment records

Define the records connecting the ordered material, inspection documents and shipment. Agree the required traceability depth before confirming the order.

  • Check how heat or batch numbers will link the MTC to material and bundle labels.
  • Specify purchase order, grade, dimensions, destination and handling marks before packing.
  • Request packing and loading photographs, their timing and delivery format.
