Choose the Standard for the Product
A standard applies to a defined product and scope. The references below help prepare an inquiry; they do not confirm availability, certification or equivalence between grades. Ask for written confirmation of the applicable edition and any additional project requirements.
ASTM / ASME
Identify the ASTM material specification or ASME material designation and edition required by the project.
EN / DIN
Specify the full EN or DIN reference and edition; confirm the relevant product form and delivery condition.
JIS
Include the JIS number, grade and edition; confirm dimensions, surface and tests for that product.
API
For API 5L line pipe, state grade and PSL, then agree the applicable inspection and documentation requirements.
Material Standards for Your Inquiry
These lists are examples, not a grade equivalence table. Match each reference to the product form and order. G90 and Z275 are coating designations under different standards; confirm the designation and acceptance criteria in the specified standard.
